Outstanding Young Missourian &

Outstanding Young Farmer Awards Program

OYF PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Missouri Jaycees annually select and honor an Outstanding Young Farmer. The awards ceremony dramatizes the winner's career in narrative form and provides a stage for the honoree to challenge and inspire Missouri 's young leaders. A Jaycee chapter may submit one or more nominees for OYF honors. The overall winner may be nominated to represent Missouri in the National Outstanding Young Farmer competition.

In determining the recipient of this recognition, the judges also give particular consideration to each nominee's record of adherence to the principles embodied in the Jaycee Creed.
